Our Weekend

We spent the whole day Saturday as a family. It was really nice. We went on a ride with Troy to check on some stuff. Then he took us over to see their new billboard, it looks awesome!
Then Troy asked us to go and hang out with him for a bit at work. The kids always love to spend time with him at work. It was just Thayne and him on the job, so he thought it would be a good day for us to spend some time with him. It was very enjoyable. The boys even got the chance to stand up their first wall in a house. They thought they were pretty tough, it was really cute!

Gary and Amber watched Jessica's kids this weekend so the cousins got to spend some time together. They had a great time. On Sunday Amber took four of them over to the park to play for a bit. Here are a few of the pictures she took. Kayden had an accident on the tramp before they went, so he didn't get to go to the park. We have an appointment today to see the doctor to get his leg checked out, so we will see.

I thought this picture turned out so cute. Amber took this of the kids while they were all holding hands walking over to the park.

Things that made me smile today!

*A warm slice of banana bread after waking up to snow. I made two loafs this morning and as you can see one is almost gone! :)

*Signing our taxes and sending them off. That is always a nice thing to have finished!

*Taking time to play a game of Sorry with the boys while Jaycee was sleeping.

*Watching my boys play together really well today in their FBI shirts we made. :)

*Walking around the corner to see my son pretending to be Spiderman and climbing the walls.

*Seeing my beautiful daughter put her boots back on after bath and pj time.

*Watching my son concentrate so hard while playing his gameboy.

*Doing a little spring cleaning in the boy's room and throwing away a whole box of old and broken toys. Nice and clean.......for now! :)

What made you smile today?

Say Cheese!

I am always carrying my camera around and always taking pictures. But I realized that not very often do I just take a picture of my kids when they aren't doing something special, playing a sport, or at a holiday. So I decided I needed to start doing this more often. Here are a few I took recently.

Ori Clyde Jensen - Age 4

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend in the Burley/Rupert area. We headed down Saturday afternoon and went to Grandpa and Grandma Cantrell's house for a couple of hours. Ori has been begging and begging to go and help feed the cows and so I told him the next time we headed that way we would stop by there and help feed the cows. He was so cute and so excited. He told me that he would show me how to do it, but he said be careful mom, it can get kind of heavy. Wende and her two kids were there visiting and Josh is now living there, so it was fun to get to see everyone and visit for a bit.

After we fed the cows we headed to my parents house. All of my sisters were coming for the weekend so we decided to celebrate Dad's birthday on Saturday. Gary and Amber came up with a great gift idea that we all pitched in on. It is a rock to put outside the door to my Dad's new office. It turned out great and dad loved it!

Then we colored Easter eggs with all the cousins. I know my kids look a little naked in these pictures, but at this age we decided that it is easier just to strip off their shirts and let them color Easter eggs that way, less mess. :) Perry and Marcy and their kids came down to visit Grandpa and Grandma Knopp (who just returned from 3 months in Arizona) and colored Easter eggs with us.

Easter morning was so fun. My kids are at the perfect ages to enjoy this kind of holiday. We also had an Easter egg hunt which was a lot of fun.

Then later in the day we went to the field across from my parent's house and flew kites (all the kids got kites from the Easter bunny). It was a lot of fun. Some other family members came down and helped with all the kids and the kites.

Then we enjoyed the rest of our day with family, lots of food, and tons of fun. It was a great weekend.
